In the morning he drove up and said ...

'Sorry , but I have some bad news. The donkey died.'

Radhika replied, 'Well just give me my money back then.'

The farmer said, 'Can't do that. I've already spent it.'

Radhika said, ' OK then, just bring me the dead donkey.'

The farmer asked, 'What are you going to do with him?'

Radhika said, 'I'm going to give him off as a lottery prize.'

The farmer said, 'You can't do that with a dead donkey!'

Radhika said, 'Sure I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead.'

A month later, the farmer met up with Radhika and asked,

'What happened with that dead donkey?'

Radhika said, 'I gave him off in a lottery.

I sold 500 tickets at Rs. 100/- each and made a profit of Rs. 40,000/-

The farmer said, 'Didn't anyone complain?'

Radhika said, 'Just the guy who won. So I gave him his Rs. 100/- back.'
